What's a great present to take a host/hostess giving a dinner party? It seems so uninspired to take chocolates.

Nigella apparently takes Hokey Pokey - but you're better off with home-made tablet - a sort of Scottish fudge. It's utterly delicious, easy (though dangerous) to make - and looks great in a pretty box. Actually, I'm making some for Christmas presents RIGHT NOW.
